Madhavi Gupta
Founder & Director

Madhavi is a social innovator and the founder of Awareness for Inclusion Foundation. For the past six years, she has been involved with Muskaan, a New Delhi based NGO for adults with intellectual disabilities. After working in multi-national companies across several countries around the world over 12 years, Madhavi is now involved in the social sector full time.

She has organized several events and fund raisers including the Muskaan Run in 2016, Muskaan’s fundraiser for the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon in 2015 and spearheaded running the Muskaan cafeteria at Oxygen, a mobile financial services company based in Gurgaon. Her contributions to the Inclusive India Campaign launched by the National Trust, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in 2017 have been well recognized. She is on the POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) committee of Egon Zehnder. An avid reader, amateur singer and kathak dancer, Madhavi is based out of Gurgaon.

Col. Rakesh Singh Bhati (Retd.)

Rakesh is a veteran having served for over 26 years in the Indian Army. Post retirement, he has been involved with several civil societies which work with animals, underprivileged children and the elderly, primarily based out of Jodhpur, from where he hails.

Currently based out of Gurgaon, Rakesh is a yoga enthusiast and a passionate runner. He lives by the KISS principle - Keep It Simple, Silly.

Richa Samant
Process improvement Expert/ Leader

Richa has more than 10 years’ experience across a variety of areas including business analytics, process quality and e-commerce. Her most recent experience was running an e-commerce company specialising in hyperlocal retail where she conceptualised every phase from ideation to execution.

She began her career as an Actuarial Analyst for GE Medical Protective at Fort Wayne, IN USA and Gurgaon, India supporting the professional liability market comprising of physicians, surgeons, dentists and hospitals.

Her Black Belt certification played an instrumental role in establishing the quality unit for the Analytics CoE in GE Capital International Services, Gurgaon. She moved to Wisconsin, USA to join the Quality team at Ace World Wide, GE HealthCare where she led the Quality Management function. She revamped the entire Quality Management framework and helped the organization become ISO certified in a record time span. She also initiated the implementation of ISO best practices for other divisions of the company as well.

Richa has a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Lady Shri Ram College and Master of Arts from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University. She is a certified six sigma black belt.

Poonam Das

Practicing at bar since 2003, she has expertise in labour and employment laws. Her extensive work in the field has given her enough food for thought. A proud mother of 2, she has now decided to start supporting people with varied abilities. Poonam is a passionate woman with keen interests in music, dance and teaching.

Poonam is supportive of women's right, feels very strongly about sexual harassment at workplace and will continue to encourage work ethics to promote inclusion.

Minakshi Diwan
Research Consultant

Minakshi Dewan holds a doctoral degree from the Centre for Social Medicine and Community Health, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has worked with various NGOs after completing her master’s degree from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Her research interests include mental health, local health traditions, traditional healing, popular culture, and political economy of health. She has publications in various edited volumes on traditional healing and tribal health. She has authored a picture book for children. She is also an expert blogger with Momspresso. She loves music, writing, and reading stories to her 5-year-old daughter. Minakshi is based out of Gurgaon.

Renu Maheshwari
Social Worker

Renu Maheshwari has been social worker for the last 18 years+. She is currently the Vice President and Executive Committee member for Khushboo Welfare Society (KWS) which works in the area of supporting children with mental disabilities. In her current role, she has been taking care of the special programs design for children which is based on different kinds of activities and therapies and also working to empower their families. The program is also aimed at improving general life skills and life style of the children.

She was the founder of an association called Prerna in Hoshiarpur, Punjab; that aimed at social development and livelihood creation for families of the workmen.

Her compassion towards people is based on her personal experiences and inspires to make a difference in people’s lives. She is a homemaker with two beautiful and well settled daughters and a doting grandmother.

Roopali Sood
A desire for learning and exploring new avenues has led Roopali to traverse across disciplines. She has dappled with science to fine-arts to new-media design, keeping a retained interest in crafts. This cross-functional training has helped her in handling design projects that require inter-disciplinary knowledge. As a NID and College of Art, Delhi graduate, she has had a myriad of experiences through multiple academic and live projects in a short span of 6 years. Her passion to make a difference to society at large has led her to make meaningful contributions to several NGOs. Roopali's eye for detail has led her to create the logo for 'In For The Cause - IFTC'. Her belief in the power of people inspired the creation.

She is a passionate Corporate Trainer and a Life Coach with over 13 years of experience in wellness industry and corporate world. Her commitment lies in enhancing the productivity and overall quality of life . Her educational degree in Human Resources and international certifications in NLP along with her skill in wellness training has equipt her with necessary tools in understanding human psychology and behaviour. She possesses excellent inter-personal management skills which have been consistent in nurturing goals and delivering positive results. Being a hands on mother to two grown up kids as well as balancing home and work has enabled her in mastering the art of healthy living which she propagates through sessions of Mind, Body and Soul coaching. “Life is challenging yet beautiful, lets live and love it “ is her motto in life.
Atima Kala
Creative Consultant and Art Therapist

“Being creative is not a hobby it’s a way of life” is the mantra for Atima.

Her extensive experience in the field of advertising and creative theatre defines her path.It strengthens her belief that societyworks for us when we work for society.She is an experienced and energetic practitioner of visual and performing art with the knowledge, skills and understanding. Theatre and visual arts are used as tools to achieve the desired results, motivates her and others.

College of art alumni member, Atima is passionately pursuing the work with people with varied abilities specially children. She strongly supports INCLUSION –each person adds value. She believes -don’t just live life, be life. She is also an avid traveler, mountaineer, photographer,reader and loves cooking food for friends. She is presently based out of Gurgaon.

Shalini Bansal
Advisory Board Member

With over 18 years of industry and education experience in Design, Shalini has worked in the domains of Textiles, Fashion, Exhibition &Graphics, Events and Education.

A large part of her consulting and job career has been dedicated to introducing and implementing Design thinking, strategy and process in the Textile, Exhibition and Retail industry.>

Over the last five years, as a Trend expert, she has worked to translate and mediate between social / societal information and the visual and colour information, to identify emerging patterns and trend directions for coming seasons. As a Textile designer, she has been designing and developing interior textile and lifestyle accessory collections for exports, retail, show flats and contract.

She has been involved with the Apparel Export Promotion Council, sponsored by the Ministry of Textiles, GOI, as she spearheads the newly envisaged AEPC Innovation and Incubation centre as well as the Design cell for design of all their national/ international B2B exhibitions and events, their branding, signage and collaterals etc.

She has tried to bring all this industry learning into classrooms and student projects through her passionate role as an educator. In her endeavour to introduce design and creative thinking to a younger audience, she has worked extensively with school children as well.

Tripura Kashyap
Advisory Board Member

Tripura Kashyap pioneered Creative Movement Therapy in India in 1990. She studied Dance therapy at Hancock Centre, Wisconsin, USA and subsequently obtained her M.A. in Psychology. She received training in classical dance at Kalakshetra, (Chennai), Jazz, Ballet, Modern dance, choreography and dance theatre at the American Dance Festival, N. Carolina. She was a performer in Chandralekha's dance company in Chennai for many years. Later, Tripura received fellowships from Ashoka International Foundation and Indian Ministry of Culture for her innovative work in dance therapy and contemporary dance. She authored “My Body, My Wisdom” published by Penguin. Later she also wrote a book on Contemporary dance titled: Practices, Paradigms and Practitioners published by AAYU Publications. She was founder-director of Apoorva Dance Theatre, Bangalore and worked collaboratively with filmmakers, visual artists and musicians on cross-art projects and performances. Tripura also worked as a projects coordinator for Bhoomika dance Company (Delhi) and creative consultant for ‘Dance-in-Education’ program at Attakkalari Center (Bangalore). She conceived the Movement therapy course in Delhi and is on the teaching faculty of dance and arts therapies courses in Pune and Bangalore. Tripura is currently the co-founder of Creative Movement therapy association of India.

Dr. Ravinder Kumar Hora
(MF Hom, MD(Paed), MBBS Consultant Developmental Pediatrician (Formally at NIMS RC New Delhi)

Consultant Pediatrician at Chikitsa Charitable dispensary in Gurgaon and NIEPID RC NOIDA for the past 6 years. He was an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics & Regional Head, Delhi for 9 years at National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped, (Govt. of India Society, under Min. of Social Justice & Empowerment), Regional Centre, New Delhi. He was earlier an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for 13 years at Dept. of Medical Sciences National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped, (Govt. of India Society, under Min. of Social Justice & Empowerment), Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Prior to that, he served the Defense Services (Army Medical Corps) for several years. Dr. Ravinder’s experience as a passionate Pediatrician especially in intellectual and developmental disabilities gives our team the confidence to make a substantial difference. He has written several publications and is associated to various esteemed forums.
